Family Futures Resource Network provides excellent early childhood programs and services, both registered and online. These programs offer parents and caregivers opportunities and experiences to support their children in their social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development. These programs also provide a natural environment for families to build social connections and increase protective factors for children.
Due to the continued provincial restrictions, in-person programs will not go ahead as planned for the month of January. We know the pandemic has been stressful to many and recognize the importance of social connection as a healthy way to cope with stress. We remain hopeful that we will be able to safely offer in-person programs in February, pending any further restrictions by the provincial government. Program start dates for our Winter 2021 session will be adjusted to start in February. These dates will be reflected on each Program page. Any programs currently offered over Zoom will continue with their original January start dates.
A small number of programs will transition over to Zoom. For these programs, you will be contacted individually by the Program Facilitator. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to adapt to health guidelines to protect the health of our participants, staff, and community.
If you need any additional resources during this time, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 780-413-4521. In the meantime, we have already created some online programs, services and support options. Which can be found on each program page, the At-Home Family Fun page, and on our YouTube channel.
