Cooking is a life-long skill that everyone should learn, and it’s important to start with the basics. This program is an adapted version of our Cooking Club program that is intended for youth aged 13-18 years. Participants will learn safe kitchen practices, basic skills like how to properly use a knife, how to boil an egg, and how to avoid cross contamination when working with raw meat, as well as how to cook basic meals for themselves, or their family and friends. These are foundational skills will significantly impact their confidence in the kitchen. Let’s get cooking!
